Corrugated rib creates a cosy fabric perfect for warm neckwear. Two size options are offered: a closer fitting neckwarmer (63cm/24.75" circumference) and a longer, deeper cowl (90cm/35.5" circumference). Both cowls are 24cm/9.5" deep.

York Minster - Alison Moreton A blanket inspired by the stained glass windows of York Minster, with three size options. Featuring four jewel coloured shades of Dovestone DK contrasted with dark grey borders in Coal. Constructed from garter stitch squares that are easy to make, requiring only knit stitches and simple increases and decreases: this a perfect project for beginners. Sizes small (medium, large) are 68x79 (90x112, 112x134)cm / 27x31 (35.5x44, 44x53)". The blanket shown uses 1 skein each of 5 colours of Dovestone DK: Coal, Rhubarb, Chevin, Lotherton and Parkin. There is very little left over, so if you want to make this size using only 1 skein of each colour make sure you knit exactly to tension (you can use your tension square as one of the blanket squares!). For a small (medium, large) blanket you will need 1 (2, 3) skeins of Dovestone DK in each of 5 colours/ 320m (640m, 1280m) of DK weight yarn. You will also need a 4mm/US 8 circular needle, minimum 80cm/32" length (you can knit the squares on straight needles if you prefer, but a circular needle is required for the border).

Osen Christmas Stocking - Alison Moreton A cosy Christmas stocking with stranded detail and afterthought heel. Made in baa ram ewe Titus 4ply. You will need 70g (225m) of main colour (Wesley Bob or Coal), 30g (95m) of CC1 (Chevin) and 15g (50m) of CC2 (Yorkshire Rose). You will also need a 3.25mm and 3.5mm 40cm circular and 3.25mm double pointed needles (or needles for your preferred method of working small diameters in the round); stitch markers and scrap yarn. Finished size: approx. 45cm from cuff to bottom of heel; 27cm from back of heel to tip of toe.

Pond Street - Alison Moreton Inspired by Sheffield railway station, known at times as Pond Street station, a shawlette knitted in three colours of Titus. The roof line of the station is represented in a chevron pattern in the border of the shawlette. Short rows aid the transition to the body of the shawl, which is shaped into a shallow crescent with more short rows. No wrapping or picking up of wraps is required, however, as all short rows are completed with easy decrease stitches. The finished size is 29cm/11.5" deep and 120cm/47" along the top (short) edge. MC - 1 skein of baa ram ewe Titus / 320m/350yds of 4ply/fingering weight yarn. CC: 64m/70yds of each of two contrast colours of 4ply/fingering weight yarn. The shawl shown uses 1 skein of Titus in Endeavour as MC and 2 10g mini skeins each of 2 contrast colours of Titus (Rhubarb and Lotherton). You will also need a 4mm/US 6 circular needle, at least 80cm/32" long, and 23 stitch markers.

Dingle Baubles - Jo Spreckley Three patterns for Christmas baubles - stripes, reflected Christmas trees and Fair Isle flowers. You will need 2.25mm or 2.5mm dpns or a long circular for magic loop. Exact gauge is not important. One bauble uses about 10g (32m) of baa ram ewe Titus total. You will also need toy stuffing. The pattern has written instructions and charts for the stranded colourwork.
