Carol Feller Akoya
Patterns

Carol Feller Akoya

£5.00
Akoya - Carol Feller This spring I wanted a versatile, stylish and flattering cardigan that was simple enough to be worn with just about everything. This cardigan keeps the basic styling simple, its short style is worn with negative ease, but small lace and cable details at the hem, cuff and neckline keep it interesting. As the waist band sits just below the natural waist the wide ribbing pulls in snugly without needing to decrease the stitches. The bustline is designed to fit with a little negative ease which creates a form fitting garment without any side shaping. Worked from the bottom up body and sleeves are joined at the yoke and worked together in one piece. There is minimal finishing when you are done, just bands and a small underarm graft. Recommended yarns: Fingering/4ply

Knit in Scrumptious 4ply. A lightweight, go-with-everything cardigan in a classic shape, with the addition of just enough lace to make it interesting to wear and knit. Worked in one piece up to the armholes, with set-in sleeves knit in the round, the only seaming is sewing the sleeves to the body. The bottom edge of the body and the edges of the sleeves are hemmed to give a clean finished look. The collar is finished simply with attached i-cord. The button bands are knit as hems, so are double thickness and present a smooth stockinette face.

Isager Eat & Knit by Marianne Isager & Camillo’s Kitchen

£22.50
Welcome to knitting patterns by Marianne Isager and food recipes from Camilo’s Kitchen. All recipes and patterns in Eat & Knit are built around a fruit or a vegetable. You’ll find six beautiful pullovers, a lovely scarf, crisp pizzas, fresh salads, delightful snacks, fresh-caught fish, spicy mussels, sweet cakes – and drinks for the sunset at the beach. Eat & Knit is also about the need to pause, – and about finding pride in creating with your hands. Tversted is known for knitwear and yarn, for summer food, for jazz, a lovely, white, long-stretched beach, a unique nature, for artisans, for antique and second-hand shops, for creative village and fringe activities. And for human warmth, awareness and care. Eat & Knit was created at the former elementary school, Tversted Skole. Here Isager has developed an active modern cultural centre. In Summer, Camillo’s Kitchen pops up and host salon evenings, communal dinners and more. It was in this spirit that Eat & Knit was created.
