Welcome to knitting patterns by Marianne Isager and food recipes from Camilo’s Kitchen. All recipes and patterns in Eat & Knit are built around a fruit or a vegetable. You’ll find six beautiful pullovers, a lovely scarf, crisp pizzas, fresh salads, delightful snacks, fresh-caught fish, spicy mussels, sweet cakes – and drinks for the sunset at the beach. Eat & Knit is also about the need to pause, – and about finding pride in creating with your hands.
Tversted is known for knitwear and yarn, for summer food, for jazz, a lovely, white, long-stretched beach, a unique nature, for artisans, for antique and second-hand shops, for creative village and fringe activities. And for human warmth, awareness and care.
Eat & Knit was created at the former elementary school, Tversted Skole. Here Isager has developed an active modern cultural centre. In Summer, Camillo’s Kitchen pops up and host salon evenings, communal dinners and more.
It was in this spirit that Eat & Knit was created.
