TOFT Edward’s Crochet Doll Emporium

£16.99
Building on the success of Edward's Imaginarium, Kerry Lord is delighted to introduce Edward's Crochet Doll Emporium. This amigurumi book contains flip book pages that allow you to mix-and-match different bodies with outfits so that you can re-create all your favourite people in crochet form. Imagine if you could crochet your son's favourite footballer, make your granddaughter herself in her new uniform on the first day of school, or even gift your best friend her groom at her hen-party? With Edward's Crochet Doll Emporium you can now make everyone you know whether old, young, bearded or bald (and then have a chance to turn dress them up into a ballerina, superhero, mermaid, astronaut, cowboy, or just plain ‘dad’ clothes if you fancy!). Re-create your favourite people and then make them a limitless wardrobe with this amazing collection of mix-and-match doll patterns to uniquely combine hairstyles, clothing and accessories. Personalise your dolls to capture your family, friends or favourite characters in crochet form, then dive into Edward’s dressing-up box and decide who your doll will be that day. Complete with all the patterns, technical tuition and basic and advanced options, Edward's Emporium is perfect for both beginners and advanced crocheters to enjoy bringing these little people to life over and over again.

Kate Davies Allover

£22.00
Your mind haes a joy o’creation laek writin a rhyme — hit’s nae lee — whin your fingers and wires in relation maks da colours an patterns agree! Stella Sutherland, Da Allover In Allover, Kate Davies has gathered together a colourful collection to capture the joy of stranded knitting. Inside thisbook you’ll find fourteen designs that are bold, playful, and eclectic. Influenced by northern colourwork traditions from Norway and Sweden to Iceland and Shetland, there are fourteen designs to choose from, including graphic hats and mitts and cosy yoke pullovers and cardigans. In Starnkeeker, the familiar monochrome motifs of Selbu accessories are adapted for a colour- blocked Argyle vest, while the Tìoraidh cardigan reveals how a small “filler” motif might become a two tone pattern’s main attraction. Kate encourages you to mix things up as well: many of the patterns are charted and photographed in several different different colourways in patterns that are full of knitterly inspiration and opportunities for play. Whether you are whipping up a jolly pair of Pouzles, or taking your time over a show-stopping piece like Schene, there’s much creative joy to be found in the pages of this colourful book.

Arnall-Culliford Knitwear Confident Knitting A Third Year of Techniques

£20.00
Jen and Jim Arnall-Culliford of AC Knitwear have a passion for teaching knitters new techniques clearly and simply. How confident are you when it comes to your knitting? When you see a pattern that uses an unfamiliar technique, do you dive straight in? Or do you find yourself knitting the same sorts of projects over and over again? There’s so much to be gained from learning something new, but all too often, people shy away from it. Confident Knitting: A Third Year of Techniques is designed to help you tackle new projects with, well, utmost confidence! This technique-based programme features twelve patterns, from twelve amazing designers supported with twelve photo and video tutorials – giving you twelve chances to find some new joy in your knitting! Confident Knitting follows a similar format to our previous books A Year of Techniques and Boost Your Knitting, but, like both of those publications, is a completely self-contained programme, so there’s no need to have already worked through any of our previous publications! Laine Publishing Neons & Neutrals – A Knitwear Collection

£32.00
Neons & Neutrals: A Knitwear Collection Curated by Aimée Gille of La Bien Aimée is a sequel to Aimée’s first book, the best-selling Worsted. This collection includes 16 patterns from 16 talented designers. It is an eclectic selection of patterns that invites crafters to combine yarn in new and unexpected ways across brands and bases. The designs showcase modern knitting at its best, using a variety of techniques and unique and unexpected color combinations. Most of the patterns are photographed in two different samples – worked in different colors and yarns, giving you ample inspiration for your own versions. The collection celebrates solidarity and cooperation: to showcase the many talented people in the knitting community. Aimée has put together a collection of not only patterns from designers around the world, but yarns from a variety of producers and dyers. All of them work beautifully together and different sizes and price points have also been taken into account. The book features designs by the following designers: Inese Sang, Maaike van Geijn, Karen Cronje, Anna Husemann, Layla Yang, Caitlyn Turowski, Cecelia Campochiaro, Valerie Ng, Maysa Tomikawa, Florence Spurling, Lotta H Löthgren, Brandi Cheyenne Harper, Marie Régnier, Susan Chin, Brienne Moody and Julia Wilkens. Aimée Gille was born and raised in the United States, in Kansas, and later moved to France, where her passion for knitting was reignited. In Paris, where she now lives with her family, she first opened L’OisiveThé, a wonderful knitting café, and later La Bien Aimée, a yarn company whose gorgeous hand-dyed yarns are sold worldwide. Her book, Worsted, was published by Laine Publishing in the fall of 2021. In Aimée’s own words: “My goal was to curate a knitwear collection that you’ve never seen before. Neons and Neutrals is a collection full of unexpected colors and textures that hopefully will invite you to knit beyond your comfort zone. I believe anyone can wear any color or texture as long as you believe in the fiber story you are making.”

Isager Eat & Knit by Marianne Isager & Camillo’s Kitchen

£22.50
Welcome to knitting patterns by Marianne Isager and food recipes from Camilo’s Kitchen. All recipes and patterns in Eat & Knit are built around a fruit or a vegetable. You’ll find six beautiful pullovers, a lovely scarf, crisp pizzas, fresh salads, delightful snacks, fresh-caught fish, spicy mussels, sweet cakes – and drinks for the sunset at the beach. Eat & Knit is also about the need to pause, – and about finding pride in creating with your hands. Tversted is known for knitwear and yarn, for summer food, for jazz, a lovely, white, long-stretched beach, a unique nature, for artisans, for antique and second-hand shops, for creative village and fringe activities. And for human warmth, awareness and care. Eat & Knit was created at the former elementary school, Tversted Skole. Here Isager has developed an active modern cultural centre. In Summer, Camillo’s Kitchen pops up and host salon evenings, communal dinners and more. It was in this spirit that Eat & Knit was created.
