Luxury Silky Sock 4ply yarn is 4/17nm at 425m per 100g and a perfect blend of soft 21 micron merino wool and mulberry silk. Merino wool has natural elasticity which helps a garment stretch yet return back to its original shape while also being warm and soft to touch. Lilypond Yarns have used 21 micron merino which is not itchy or scratchy next to the skin. The silk gives it a shiny smooth lustre that feels soft and luxurious to work with. With 425m (465 yds) per 100g there is that little bit extra per hank making the yarn go that little bit further. A beautiful quality yarn hand dyed in Devon.The merino is mulesing free and comes from South America and is 100% animal fibre.
